What you’ll do
- You will have the opportunity to build applications of GenAI approaches to solve the most critical forecasting and interpretation challenges in climate science that would allow us to improve food and climate security outcomes for the world.
- Work cross functionally with climate scientists, ML engineers, software engineers and business teams.
Qualifications:
- PhD, or Master's degree and 3+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
- Significant hands-on experience in AI/ML, specifically with large datasets.
- Domain expertise in climate is nice to have but not required, a solid foundation in ML/AI and statistical modeling principles is essential (i.e., the ability to clearly demonstrate a grasp over the concepts and best practices.)
- Strong coding skills with experience in cloud computing.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The base compensation range for employees based in the US is $160,000-220,000 and equity in line with experience and company stage. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at ClimateAi and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, business need and US location.
